Information We Collect
We collect limited usage and technical information to operate and improve our calculator tools. This may include browser type, device information, referring pages, and high-level interaction data. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send.
Calculator Suggestions and Votes
If you submit or upvote a calculator suggestion on our Suggest a Calculator page, we ask for your email address. We use it only to prevent duplicate votes and to operate the suggestion board. Emails are stored as a one-way hash and are not published on the site or included in public GitHub issues created from suggestions. Suggestion titles and descriptions you submit are shown publicly on the board. To request deletion of your vote or related data, contact us at hello@calcfuel.com.
Google AdSense Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on CalcFuel. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. These cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on your interests.

Local browser storage
Some calculators may store unit-system and currency preferences, and optional vehicle/boat sketches, in your browser's localStorage so settings persist between visits. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. You can clear it by clearing site data in your browser.
Data retention
Analytics event data is retained according to our Google Analytics and Vercel property settings (typically aggregated and retained for product improvement). Suggest-a-calculator submissions store hashed email addresses for abuse prevention; we do not use them for marketing lists unless you separately opt in. Server logs are retained for a limited operational period by our host (Vercel).
Australian privacy
CalcFuel is operated by an Australian entity. Where the Australian Privacy Principles apply, you may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you by contacting hello@calcfuel.com.
Affiliate and commercial disclosures
If we display affiliate or sponsor offers, they are labelled on the page. Advertising via Google AdSense and authorized buyers may appear on some pages; partners are governed by Google's advertising policies. Calculator formulas are not altered for commercial partners.
